I traveled to the Very end of the Baja for my Dad's 50th birthday.
Yes Steve is finally 50 haha!! I've been telling him that that means he is officially getting old. The plan was to just relax and lay out by the beach all week. We all had a goal of coming home with an amazing tan and we did! I personally think that is the best souvenir for yourself. We did other things like snorkel and go into the city to shop. We of course had to stop by Cabo Wabo for my mom. That's a bar and restaurant owned by Sammy Hagar, one of the singers for Van Halen. Hes my moms dream man!! So she had to go and try and find him. Unfortunately he was out of town.

We Stayed at the most amazing place ever! Its the Grand Mayan in San Jose del Cabo. The minute you walk in you know that this place is luxury!! The best part was by far the pools. There was at least four and I am pretty sure they all together equaled the length of a football field! And
directly beyond the pools was the beach and the ocean! It was incredible. We never wanted to leave! And of course you can't forget about the food. We had the best authentic Mexican food. It doesn't even compare to stuff in the states.

A week after we got back from Cabo I had successfully convinced my parents to go back down to Vegas for the NBA Summer League! It Wasn't hard for my dad and I to know that it would be a blast. It was my mom that I thought would be a no go. Surprisingly she was really excited about the Idea! We went down on a Saturday and watched the Warriors play the Kings. If you didn't know the summer league is for all the rookies and D league guys to get a taste of the big times and to see how well they are playing and if they are ready for the NBA roster. So there wasn't any big timers there like LeBron or Kobe, but there were a lot of major college players there getting there first look at the big times! We went down there to see Stephen Curry. He is predicted to be rookie of the year and he definitely looked like it!
It was so fun to go and watch these huge NBA players on a small high school sized court play ball. If you love Basketball this is such an awesome experience! The rest of my summer has consisted of laying out by the pool at home, seeing plays at Tuacahn, Working off and on at my Mom's work as a dental assistant, and hitting the gym! My last weekend here We are going back down to Vegas to watch my Brothers girlfriend play in a softball tournament. I'm so excited to shop and just hang out with the family.

Then It's back up to Provo to move into my new condo and get ready for school which starts the 26th. This was honestly one of the best summers. After going through a huge dilemma, loosing my job ended up being a blessing in some ways!
